I’m a sustainable transportation enthusiast located in Kingston and New Paltz, NY. Working in the field of mobility management years ago opened my eyes to the gaping holes in our car-centric transportation system - holes which disabled, poor, elderly and young people - and everyone else! - regularly fall into. That experience, plus my growing awareness of the urgency of the climate crisis, and the three cyclists who were killed by cars in Kingston within a single year 2020-2021, have inspired me to start this blog with the mission of supporting the local transport conversation, stopping car deaths, improving mobility for all, and diminishing our contribution to climate change. I am always learning, and my opinions are subject to evolution.
